Hydraulic PVC piping for fire protection systems is certified in compliance with the procedures established by the CNCP Product Certification Body (Center for Standardization and Product Certification, A.C.). It is manufactured according to the specifications of the standard: “ANSI/AWWA C900-16 Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Pressure Pipe and Fabricated Fittings, 4 inches to 60 inches (100mm to 1500mm).

Certifications
Additionally, this pipe is certified by the Product Certification body: FM Approvals “Approvals Standard for Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Pipe and Fittings for Underground Fire Protection Service” Class Number 1612, whose scope is pipe *DR 14 Class 250 in 4 ” to 12” in diameter.

Characteristics
Flow capacity
C900 PVC pipe remains smooth inside after years of service, so it does not lose conduction capacity.
Resistance to corrosion
C900 PVC Hydraulic piping is not affected by galvanic or electrolytic corrosion, or by any type of soil. Unlike other types of pipe, it does not require expensive cathodic or epoxy coatings.
Union with rieber ring
The pipe’s Rieber ring joint allows for quick assembly and tight jointing. The elastomeric material placed in the bell provides an airtight seal that protects the pipe joint against vibrations, earth movements, and compensation for expansion and contraction, as well as ensuring that it will not dislodge during assembly.
Quality control
C900 PVC Hydraulic piping is tested in compliance with the applicable Standards in a laboratory accredited by the EMA (Mexican Accreditation Entity).
